With over 25 years in public accounting providing auditing
and business consulting services to clients principally in
the not-for-profit, manufacturing, construction, and retail
industries, John specializes in mergers and acquisitions,
business planning, and financing.
John’s experience includes designing
and implementing cost accounting and inventory control systems
for multi-industry companies, conducting LIFO inventories,
and assisting clients with adopting new accounting standards.
Working with not-for-profit organizations
such as private schools, private and public foundations,
botanical gardens, voluntary health and welfare organizations,
and museums, he designs and implements fund accounting systems,
implements SFAS Nos. 116, 117, and 124, OMB circular A-133
reporting, assists with mergers and acquisitions, and provides
counsel in business planning and financing.
In the 2002 - 2007 surveys conducted by
Virginia Business magazine, John was selected each year
as a Super CPA in the Not-For-Profit category.
