Mike has more than 25 years experience in public accounting
serving privately owned business clients in various industries
providing audit, tax and advisory services.
As a member of the Business Assurance team,
he specializes in acquisition due diligence, implementation
of ESOPs and structuring sales, mergers and acquisition
transactions for clients in the industries of real estate
development, heavy equipment dealers, mechanical construction,
retail, and convenience stores.
Prior to joining Keiter Stephens, Mike
served as an audit partner at Deloitte & Touche, L.L.P.,
and Gary, Stosch, Walls & Company. Mike began his career
as a faculty member in the Accounting Department of Virginia
Commonwealth University.
In the 2004 - 2007 surveys conducted by Virginia Business magazine, Mike was named one of Virginia's Super CPAs for
providing audit, tax, and consulting services.
