Charlottesville Area History
History of Our Charlottesville Practice
With 27 years of serving clients in central Virginia, Keiter Stephens expanded into the Charlottesville market in 2004 by opening an office in the Peter Jefferson office park to better serve our clients in that area.
Also in 2005, Robert L. Tobey started his own practice that
was known as Robert L. Tobey and Company. He first started his public accounting career with a "Big Five" firm in Chicago and still serves some of his orginal clients. Mr. Tobey has lived in Charlottesville for over 19 years and has served on various non-profit boards.
In 2006, recognizing the synergies between the two firms,
Keiter Stephens merged with Robert L. Tobey and Company. Under the leadership
of Robert Tobey. Link
